LG May Manufacture Foldable Displays For Future iPhones

Foldable displays made by LG will enter mass production in 2018, with the components intended for Apple, Google, and Microsoft, reports ETNews (South Korea). The next iPhone is said to included a curved display, at least with one of the models, rather than a foldable display.
LG has been showing off prototypes of the foldable display style for years. It's somewhat difficult to picture Apple being an adopter, particularly as soon as 2018.
Apple does have a patent pertaining to a foldable display product, however. It described a device that uses a hinge setup to close or open two halves of its display.
