There are now 600 million active users on Instagram, Facebook's photo and video-centric social network. Of those, 100 million joined in the past six months and Instagram's user count has doubled in the past two years. This growth comes as the network has introduced major new features like live video broadcasts and "Stories."
Instagram's Stories feature lets users share a set of photos or videos that'll last 24 hours. It's become a very popular part of the network, with over 100 million Stories being viewed daily.
