Twitch Introduces 'IRL' Category For Lifestreaming

Twitch's focus remains on game streaming, but there's now a category on the platform dedicated to general purpose livestreams. It's called "IRL," which stands for "in real life." The category is meant for those who simply want to stream themselves talking or doing regular everyday things.
Some of the site's popular streamers have already turned to the category to try it out, which you can see here.
Twitch is largely organized by the game a streamer is playing, though it has added categories for creative endeavors like painting and drawing.
