The Acer Predator X27 4K monitor is finally available for pre-order right now. While on the face of it, it’s just another gaming monitor, there are some important specs to note here. The Predator X27 doesn’t just support 4K resolution, it also supports HDR and G-Sync, which makes it unique. That is, no other gaming monitor offers all of these features in one right now.
The monitor also gives you complete 10-bit HDR support and comes with 144Hz refresh rate, making it one of the highest end monitors on the market. It is capable of 1000 nits brightness and has a 99 percent coverage for the Adobe RGB color spectrum. You get 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution.
The monitor is armed with a hood to shield the screen from ambient lighting, protecting color accuracy. You will find two DisplayPort 1.4 as well: one HDMI 2.0, and four USB 3.0 ports.
The monitor isn’t cheap though. It’ll cost you $2000 and is available for pre-order on Newegg right now. It will be launching from June 1 onwards and it’ll be interesting to see what kind of demand Acer has to face.
