WhatsApp ‘Delete for Everyone’ feature deadline extended

WhatsApp is beta-testing an update that extends the deadline of the 'Delete for Everyone' feature on the chat app. Earlier, users could not delete a sent message within 420 seconds (7 minutes), but now the time frame to delete a sent message has been increased to 4,096 seconds (68 minutes and 16 seconds).
According to WABetaInfo, a fan site that tests new WhatsApp features, the feature is currently live for WhatsApp Android beta version 2.18.69, with a stable release for Android and iOS to follow soon. This means that only WhatsApp Android beta testers can take advantage of the extended deadline for ‘Delete for Everyone’ feature as of now.
Only WhatsApp Android beta testers can take advantage of the extended deadline for ‘Delete for Everyone’ feature as of now.
Beta testing normally takes a month. But if any bug emerges, it can extend for a few more weeks. Nonetheless, one can expect the messaging service to bring extended deadline for 'Delete for Everyone' feature by April end.
The messaging service is testing a new ‘Group Description’ feature on the Android beta and Windows version of its app. This feature will let users add Group description.
Meanwhile, it is believed the company is also working on a new feature that will allow users to mark messages that have been forwarded from another or same chat as ‘Forwarded message’. The feature is reportedly available for Android beta version 2.18.67. WABetaInfo’s report indicates that a new Stickers feature is also under development for Android and will be available soon.
