HTC U12 may have Snapdragon 845, 5G support

HTC has been slow and steady in the smartphone market for a while but its products remain important. The company’s next flagship, the HTC U12 was first showcased at a 5G event in Taiwan recently. That might mean that the HTC U12 will sport Qualcomm’s new X20 LTE modem, which supports up to 1.2 Gbps speeds. More details have been found too.
It seems the HTC U12 may have a 6-inch display with QHD resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The company seems to be carrying on with its Super LCD panels over Samsung’s AMOLED panels. 
HTC U12 may come with 6GB of RAM on the device, along with 128GB storage.

According to reports, the HTC U12 may also be IP68 certified and should have a 3980 mAh battery. The X20 LTE modem would bring support for 5G networks and the phone should also support dual-SIM card slots. Lastly, HTC’s Edge Sense technology should make an appearance again, but it will have Edge Sense 2.0.
