There’s a new version of 2017’s Apple Watch. Well, it’s not really a “new” version of the device, but it’s certainly cheaper. You can buy a refurbished Apple Watch Series 3 for $279, reports 9to5Mac. The watch is available in 38mm and with gold aluminum casing and a pink sports band. There’s also a 42mm grey aluminium case version with black sports band.
The $38mm variant is being sold at $279 and the 42mm version can be bought for $309, both cheaper than the original pricing for the Series 3 Apple Watch. It’s unclear whether the LTE versions of these watches will be available in future, though you do get GPS functionality on both of them.
While the Apple Watch hasn’t particularly revolutionized the wearable industry, this might be the right time to actually buy one. Given the reduced pricing, first-time users looking to try out Apple’s wearable can get it at a $50 discount.
