HTC Announces Budget U11, The 'U11 Life'

HTC now has a cheaper version of its U11 smartphone that uses nearly the same design as its parent device. The new U11 Life, which costs $349 (much lower than the U11's $649), brings down the display from a 5.5-inch Quad HD to a 5.2-inch 1080p display.
Most aspects of the device have been downgraded. Its starting storage is 32 GB (not 64), it has a rear 12-megapixel camera (down from 16 MP), it's using a Snapdragon 630 (rather than a Snapdragon 825), and the battery has gone from 3,000 mAh to 2,600 mAh.
One of the few major design changes is that the USB-C and down-facing speaker have swapped their positions.
The U11 Life is now available online and it'll be in T-Mobile stores beginning November 3.
