A patch for Halo 5 on Xbox One X will be ready in time for the console's release. Developer 343 Industries has revealed the patch will launch later today, ahead of the Xbox One X's release on November 7. Players will immediately be able to interact with an upgraded version of the game.
Though the patch doesn't come with HDR support, it will let the game render in 4K and it'll bring higher-res textures to the title. This same patch includes non-Xbox One X updates like the return of Oddball modes and new weapon skins, among other things.
