Tesla Recalls 11,000 Model X Vehicles

Tesla is recalling 11,000 Model X vehicles due to safety concerns with its seat design. It discovered a problematic cable that's connected to the driver's side rear seat could pull the seat forward during a crash because it's not properly locked in place.
The Model X units affected by this flaw were made from October 28, 2016, to August 16, 2017. Although Tesla is recalling thousands of vehicles, only an estimated 3% are actually affected. Because the flaw isn't complex, you can simply have a technician come to your home. The visit takes ~10 minutes.
Although Tesla has not received reports of any issues or accidents relating to this condition, we will be conducting a voluntary recall to inspect the affected vehicles and confirm whether any adjustment is needed,- Tesla
