Google Lens, an AI-based service that can identify nearly anything you take a picture of, has begun quietly rolling out on the Pixel and Pixel XL from 2016. It started showing up on devices without any software update, according to users. Google Lens is part of Google Photos and it's already present on the Pixel 2 series.
You can use the feature to identify flowers, businesses, landmarks, products, and many other kinds of objects.
This feature will eventually be expanded so that users can access Lens without first having to take a photo.
