Among new smartphones, Sony has also unveiled a smart speaker that runs Google's Assistant and is backed up with some Sony's enhancements. The smart speaker pretty much resembles Apple's upcoming HomePods and will go on sale next month, priced at $200.
Called Sony LG-S50G, the device can be activated using your voice and can do what Google Home can do, such as control smart home appliances, ask for the news and weather updates, play and control your music, and more. Under a mesh grill are hidden LEDs that show the time, and the device is said to include Bluetooth and NFC connectivities.
