Samsung Galaxy S9 Might Not Have 6 GB Of RAM

After having serious problems with Galaxy Note 7 and wanting to be more competitive with Apple, Samsung has reportedly decided to accelerate development of the Galaxy S9 and plans to announce the new flagship smartphone a few months earlier. Latest rumours suggest that the phone could be announced in late January as the company reportedly scheduled OLED display component shipments to start in November.
While it might arrive earlier, some reports also mention that the phone won't have very impressive specifications list. According to XDA Developers, the Samsung Galaxy S9 will have just 4 GB of RAM, or 2 GB less than the Galaxy Note 8.
Some reports claim that the new model will keep the fingerprint scanner on the back, while others suggest Samsung will move it under the screen. We have also heard that it will be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset and retain the 1,440 x 2,960 QHD+ 18.5:9 aspect ratio display.
