With Google finally launching the Android 8.0 Oreo platform, companies are slowly starting to reveal which smartphones will be eligible for the update. Along with announcing new smartphones, Sony has also revealed that most of its 2016 handsets will be updated to Oreo.
There is no word on availability or whether Sony plans to include some new features. The following phones will get the update:
- Xperia X
- Xperia X Performance
- Xperia XZ
- Xperia X Compact
- Xperia XZ Premium
- Xperia XZs
- Xperia XA1
- Xperia XA1 Ultra
- Xperia XA1 Plus
- Xperia Touch
