Garmin Introduces Three New Wearables And Garmin Pay Service

At the IFA 2017 in Berlin, Garmin has announced that it is updating its Vivo family, including the Vivosport activity tracker, the Vivomove HR hybrid touchscreen smartwatch and the Vivoactive 3. The company has also announced Garmin Pay, a mobile payment service that supports Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards.
The Vivoactive 3 is the only smartwatch that supports the new contactless-payment solution. It also comes with GPS, a heart-rate monitor and 15 built-in indoor and outdoor sports apps. Garmin claims that the watch should last for a week on a single charge. The Vivoactive 3 is available now for $299.
The Vivomove HR has a built-in digital sub-display that only turns on when a user turns its wrist. There are many activity and fitness related features, including steps tracking, various workouts, sleep acitivity, heart rate measurements and more. The Sport model costs $199.99, while the premium version with steel body is priced at $299.99.
The last wearable from Garmin is the Vivosport. The activity tracker has always-on power efficient Garmin Chroma color touchscreen with 7 days of battery life. Aside from the basic activity-tracking stuff, it also includes workout apps, GPS, heart rate sensors, and can calculate VO2 max and stress levels.
