Thanks to a leaked iOS 11 GM seems, we now have more information on some of the features from upcoming iPhone 8. The code has also confirmed that Apple will announce a new version of AirPods headphones and Apple Watch smartwatch.
The new headphones are referenced as "AirPods1,1" and "AirPods1,2," and the hardware appears to be a slight modification over existing units. The only noticeable change is a charging status LED, which has been relocated from inside the case to its exterior.
The Apple Watch pairing screen has also been updated and the device on the image looks to be the new Apple Watch. The image also shows indicators for cellular signal strength, confirming that an LTE-enabled Apple Watch is indeed on the way.
Last, but not least is information about new iPhone. The handset will feature a display called True Tone with a resolution of 1,125 x 2,436 pixels. There is also a facial recognition system called Face ID and a new camera feature called Portrait Lighting that appears to simulate depth by utilizing different lighting effects.
New video recording options are 1080p HD at 240fps 480MB with 1080p HD at 240fps, 4K at 24fps (Footer) 270MB with 4K at 24fps (film style)(HEVC Footer) 135MB with 4K at 24fps (film style) and 4K at 60fps (Footer) 450MB with 4K at 60fps (higher resolution, smoother) (HEVC Footer) 400MB with 4K at 60fps (higher resolution, smoother).
