Google's first generation Pixel smartphones are great devices with impressive camera performance, but they are missing some key features that are available on other flagship smartphones. One of such features is definitely IP68 rating, which is now rumoured to be included with new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
Additionally, the Pixel 2's camera will feature EIS (electronic image stabilization) instead of OIS (optical image stabilization) for improved low-light performance. We have also learned that both models will have a USB Type-C to 3.5mm dongle in the package and be available in either 64 or 128 GB variants. Another good news is that there will be no specs differences between the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
