While Microsoft has yet to acknowledge the bug, it looks like Windows 10 is affected by another bug that can cause a very serious problem for some users. According to a report, users are now reporting that files copied from one location to another on a PC-connected Android device disappear.
This is only a problem while using the built-in file manager File Explorer. If the files that are being moved or copied from an Android folder or storage device to another location on the same Android phone or tablet using an MTP or PTP USB connection, then you are safe.
So far, OnePlus, LG, Google Nexus and Pixel, HTC U11, some Nokia phones and several Xiaomi and Sony models are being affected, while Samsung and BlackBerry devices are working correctly.
