Verizon Struggling To Get Streaming Service Partners

Verizon has so far failed to attract content partners for a planned streaming service that'd compete against Sling TV and others. Bloomberg says it has barely signed on broadcasters and therefore the launch is likely being pushed to the fall. Verizon wanted to launch the service this summer.
Due to the company having relatively few details available about its planned service, such as price and programming, broadcasters have been reluctant to sign any deals.
Negotiations on Verizon's end are being led by Erin McPherson, who was formerly with Walt Disney.
