A new version of Windows 10 has been introduced that's intended for powerful workstations. Windows 10 Pro comes with support for up to 6 TB of memory and four processors. It'll become available alongside the upcoming Fall Creators Update. The software works with Intel Xeon and AMD Opteron processors.
Windows 10 Pro extends beyond the current limit of two CPUs and the memory limit of 2 TB.
Microsoft describes the operating system as offering "support for server grade PC hardware and is designed to meet demanding needs of mission critical and compute intensive workloads".
