SpaceX has developed a space suit that may be used by NASA astronauts and pictures of the suit are due to be released shortly, says CEO Elon Musk. As part of the NASA Commercial Crew Program, the company has created its own next-gen space suit. The model is going through mobility and safety tests.
This project stretches back years. In 2015, Musk discussed the space suit and said it "needs to both look like a 21st century spacesuit and work well."
NASA astronauts could use the suit, as could space tourists and others who are going to space privately.
