The Taiwanese company is having tough months ahead as it is thinking about selling the VR business and its mobile business isn't doing great. Still, HTC is ready to commit to an Android 8.0 Oreo upgrade and has recently confirmed that U Ultra, 10 and U11 get the update.
Now, the company has confirmed that the update will start with the U11, which will be getting the Oreo in the fourth quarter of the year (October-December). We would assume that the other two devices won't get it this year, while the rest of the lineup will wait a few more months.
