Smart headphones are said to be coming from Google and they could utilize Google Assistant to give people more controls beyond the physical ones typically found on headphones. The product is codenamed Bistro. The headphones reportedly have a dedicated Google Assistant button.
Users will be able to hear and reply to notifications using the Assistant-enabled smart features. Other than that, we don't know much about the headphones.
Though we don't know when Google is coming out with the product, it's possible we could see it this fall alongside new smartphones and Chromebooks.
