Google Brings 'Wifi' To Asia

Google's mesh WiFi router product, simply called "Wifi," is now available in Asia. It's launching in the region six months after it became available in the United States. You can order the package in Singapore and it's reportedly going to expand to another Asian country soon.
Customers in Singapore can only get Google Wifi with a two-year contract from StarHub, a local ISP. That's distinct from the way the device has been sold elsewhere. You can buy Wifi from regular retailers and from Google directly in the US.
StarHub users can get it for $11 per month with a 24-month contract.
Google's Martin Geh said it's "rare" for Google to engage in exclusivity deals, but he didn't say when the deal may come to an end.
