Though a release date still has not been mentioned for Andy Rubin's Essential Phone, it seems like a release is just around the corner. The phone has been listed on Best Buy's website, suggesting it'll become available pretty soon. Two versions of the handset have appeared on retailer's site.
One version is exclusive to Sprint, while the other is an entirely unlocked model. Best Buy calls the device the "PH-1."
According to the current listings, it'll cost $700, which fits with the price announced by the company. Initially the Sprint version was listed as costing $750, but that price has been removed.
