The Live TV feature in Plex is now available on two new platforms: Android and Apple TV. With Live TV, you can watch live television programming, such as sports and local news, from within the app. It also offers time-shifting, enabling users to pause, rewind, and fast forward.
Plex introduced the feature in June. It is only available for those with a Plex Pass subscription and you need to have a digital tuner available for over-the-air television content to be captured.
Live TV, along with DVR, will also be reaching Roku or Fire TV relatively soon.
