Apple may need to push back the availability of the iPhone 8 by 3 or 4 weeks due to a few problems. A report from analysts with Bank of America says Apple is going to ship the phone later than anticipated. The analysts, Wamsi Mohan and Stefano Pascale, used supply chain sources to figure out Apple's maneuvering.
It was recently claimed Apple is in "panic" mode due to a couple software hiccups with the iPhone 8. Other issues impacting its suppliers have contributed to the need for a later shipment date.
The same analyst report backs up the claim that Apple has encountered problems with the iPhone 8's Touch ID and 3D facial recognition.
