Latest ransomware attacks have forced India to ask Microsoft to offer a one-time discount for more than 50 million Windows users in the country that would upgrade to the latest Windows 10 operating system, which is immune to the Petya ransomware infection.
While nothing is yet official, Gulshan Rai, India's cybersecurity coordinator has reportedly come to an agreement with Microsoft, who has agreed to a convenient price for users and businesses to upgrade to Windows 10.
