Yahoo has released a major redesign for its free email service and launched a new "Yahoo Mail Pro" subscription option. The new user interface is more minimalistic and fits with the sort of design language people have become accustomed to from other modern services.
Design skins, including ones that'll change throughout the day, are also available.
Yahoo has updated its search capability, letting users search for content using a combination of name, keyword, and date.
On top of rolling out a big design and functionality change, Yahoo has introduced a new pro service. It costs $35 per year or $3.49 per month and it comes with ad-free service and priority customer support. A mobile-only option is available for $10 per year or $1 per month.
