Microsoft is working on a new version of Windows 10 for power users. A couple Twitter users found references to a new "Windows 10 Pro for Advanced PCs" in an accidentally released build that went out to testers last week.
The new OS version appears to be intended for higher-end PCs. A leaked slide from the company also describes the software as "Windows 10 Pro for Workstation."
It comes with a few core features:
- Workstation mode - When enabled, it'll offer peak performance and reliability by identifying "typical compute and graphics intensive workloads."
- Resilient file system
- Faster file handling
- Expanded hardware supporter - Grow support from 2 CPUs to 4 CPUs, with a new memory limit of 6 TB.
This version of Windows is only intended for a small portion of Windows 10 users, particularly those operating in enterprise settings.
