US Will Check Social Media Content Of Visa Applicants

The US' Office of Management and Budget has approved a revised version of the visa application process that includes checking social media posts. A new questionnaire will request social media handles dating back up to 5 years from applicants.
You'll also need to hand over some biographical information going back up to 15 years.
Many people submitted oppositional statements during the public comment period for this update. Yet approval was given anyways.
Reuters says the State Department is only going to request social media information when it finds "such information is required to confirm identity or conduct more rigorous national security vetting."
You can view the new form here.
