After months of developing and testing, Microsoft is now rolling out a major software update to Skype. The new version is completely revamped, with a new set of features that is very similar to its messaging rivals Messenger and Snapchat, such as Stories, which is called Highlights.
Skype features a completely redesigned UI, new "find" panel that makes Skype infinitely searchable and more. It is rolling out worldwide and will take some time before everyone gets the new version.

- Buy tickets for a concert, find recipes or even plan your next trip around the world. You can also quickly find and drop useful information into the conversation.
- Follow friends and family for snapshots of their week and react to them with just a tap. These memorable moments stay available for seven days.
