OnePlus has finally launched its new flagship smartphone and first reports show that the "flagship killer" is all but a killer. The OnePlus 5 has good, but not great camera and is mostly an incremental upgrade over its predecessor. Still, the teardown shows decent improvements in the build quality.
Folks at MyFixGuide got their hands on the phone and during the disassembly process, they have discovered that the smartphone's internal structure has a systematic sealing design, similar to other top-tier smartphone makers. Despite that, some connectors inside the phone aren't fixed with metal plates, meaning they could get loose especially the camera connector. The full teardown is available.
