Half a billion devices are using Windows 10 each month, Microsoft revealed during its Build developer conference. The operating system has been growing at about twice the rate of Windows 8. Windows 10 was at 200 million in January 2016 and it reached 270 million in March 2016.
Even though the OS has been out for a while and many consumers have already upgraded, it's managed to get on another 230 million devices in a little over a year.
Microsoft also announced Office now has 100 million commercial users per month and Cortana has 141 million monthly active users.
