Verizon Confirms It's Launching A TV Streaming Service

Verizon is going to come out with its own TV streaming option, CEO Lowell McAdam confirmed during a telecom conference in Boston. He says the company will leverage AOL and Yahoo's combined user base to test the service.
Earlier this year, Bloomberg reported Verizon was going to come out with an over-the-top streaming service. That offering was said to feature dozens of channels and would be distinct from FiOS' home TV option as well as from Verizon's go90.
Now that McAdam has confirmed the existence of the service, we're just waiting to learn when Verizon will introduce it.
