Sony has very good phablets and according to new information, the company is working on a new high-end model under its Xperia series, featuring an ultra-wide display. Both the LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ have big displays with thin bezels, but Sony has decided to go with even taller and narrower design.
The Xperia X Ultra features a huge 6.45-inch display with 21:9 aspect ratio. For comparison, the Galaxy S8 has 18.5:9 and the LG G6 has 18:9. Unlike those two phones, the Sony handset won't have flagship specifications. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, a 19 MP main camera, a 13 MP front camera and relatively small 3,050 mAh. No other details are known at the moment.
