Snapdragon 660 Gets Benchmarked, Shows Small Improvements Over Snapdragon 653

Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor are known for great performance, which improves with every new generation. Sometimes the performance bump is bigger, but sometimes it is only marginal. The Snapdragon 660 is built using a 14nm process for efficiency and uses eight Kryo 260 cores for power, improving the performance over its predecessor.
According to first real tests, the Snapdragon 660 is between 10 and 20% faster than the Snapdragon 653, while being more power efficient. Also the good news is it isn't far behind Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 835 chipset, around 20%. That being said, the Snapdragon 660 is definitely the new king of mid-range segment.
