On-demand TV shows are going to fill up Snapchat in the near future. According to a Wall Street Journal report, Snapchat has signed content deals with NBCUniversal, ESPN, ABC, Turner, NFL, and others. They'll be offering 3-5 minute short episodes in Snapchat Stories.
Exactly what the original content contains isn't known, though Snapchat may make some adjustments to the platform to accommodate the format, such as lengthening the amount of time episodes are available.
Snapchat is working with TV producers to in some way make the content interactive with the goal of boosting engagement.
