PS Now Reaches 70M Monthly Users, PS Plus Has 26.4M Members

At the end of 2016, Sony reached 26.4 million paying PlayStation Plus members, the company announced during a Corporate Strategy Meeting briefing. It also now has 70 million monthly active users on PlayStation Network. Sony didn't say when it considers a user "active."
That figure is a bit higher than Xbox Live's 52 million monthly active users, which was revealed by Microsoft in April.
Sony mentioned during the briefing that users collectively spend 600 million hours just on the PS4 each week.
To further increase PS Plus subscriptions, Sony wants to improve the service's content.
