Nintendo had both the first and second best selling consoles in the US last month, reports NPD. The Switch had more sales than any other system and the NES Classic managed to beat Sony's PS4 and Microsoft's Xbox One.
Nintendo owned the top 2 platforms in unit sales for the month, with the Nintendo Switch at No. 1, followed by NES Classic,- Mat Piscatella, analyst, NPD
The NES Classic was a hit from the moment it reached the market. It offered access to 30 built-in games and only cost $60. Nintendo announced in April that'd it be discontinuing the system.
