Lenovo just announced that it is updating the IdeaPad and Legion gaming laptop lineup and introducing a new Flex 2-in-1 laptop. The IdeaPad is updated with three new models - the 720S, 320S and 320, the Legion lineup is refreshed with a new model Y920, while the new 2-in-1 is called Flex 5.
Let's start with the Flex 5. It starts at $719.99 and is available in 14- and 15-inch sizes. It can be customized with 4K display, Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT940MX GPU, 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. It runs Windows 10 and will go on sale later this month.
The Legion Y920 is the latest gaming laptop from Lenovo. It includes a 17-inch display, Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU with 8 GB of memory, a backlit mechanical keyboard and is also VR-ready. Unfortunately, it is very expensive, starting at $2,700 and will go on sale next month.
Regarding the new IdeaPads, the 720S model looks very interesting. It comes with a 14-inch 1080p display, but a 13-inch chassis thanks to slim bezels. In can be configured with up to a Core i7 Kaby Lake processor, NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics, up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB SSD. It should be available in June for about $970 and up.
The IdeaPad 320, which comes in 15.6- or 17.3-inch display options and include up to a 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor, up to 2TB of HDD storage and 16 GB of memory. The 15-inch model starts at $439.99 while the 17-inch starts at $489.99.
The last model is IdeaPad 320S will be available with a 14- and 15-inch 1080p display options, NVIDIA graphics (for the larger model), and up to 8 GB of RAM. The pricing it set at $739.99 for the 14- and $749.99 for the 15-inch model.
