HP Announces Elite x2 1012 G2 Detachable Laptop For Enterprise

The first-generation Elite X2 1012 G1 was praised by its great build quality, battery life and ease of serviceability. HP has now announced its successor that features a better hardware, but also improved design with reduced thickness of the bezels by 10% for a larger display and a new keyboard dock.
The notebook now features Intel Core i5 or i7 Kaby Lake processors with Intel HD Graphics 620, 16 GB of RAM, and up to 1 TB of SSD storage. The 12.3-inch display has WQXGA (2,736 x 1,824) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4, while the company also managed to improve battery life, making the tablet last up to 10 hours and 15 minutes on a single charge.
The HP Elite x2 1012 G2 will be available later in July starting at $1,099 in the US.
