Apple Co-Founder Thinks Tesla Will Make The Next Breakthrough, Not Apple

Apple has been a source of innovation throughout its history, but many people believe its period of peak innovation could be in the past. Co-founder Steve Wozniak seems to agree. According to Wozniak, the next breakthrough technology is likely to come from Tesla, not Apple.
I think Tesla is on the best direction right now. They've put an awful lot of effort into very risky things. They started with a car—the Tesla Model S—that made little sense in engineering terms in how much you have to build for what price and what the market will be.- Wozniak
Because of Tesla's history thus far and the attitude of its CEO, Elon Musk, Wozniak says he is "going to bet on Tesla."
Part of the reason Wozniak thinks Tesla has a bright future is because it's very much a project that has originated from Musk's passion.
It was really built for Elon's own life. What car would he like? And when things come from yourself, knowing what you'd like very much and being in control of it… .that's when you get the best products,- Wozniak
