India will receive Uber's food delivery service this quarter, according to The Economic Times. UberEats will first arrive in one Indian city and then it will expand to another five by the end of this year. The app is already live in 80 cities around the world.
UberEats first appeared in 2014 during a trial in Los Angeles. It then launched in Toronto in December 2015 as a standalone app.
It appears the first city in India will be Mumbai, which is already listed on the UberEats site.
Uber announced its plan to bring the service to India earlier this year.
