SpaceX Successful With First Relaunched Falcon 9

SpaceX's first mission with a reused Falcon 9 went perfectly. The core mission was successful and the rocket was recovered once again. CEO Elon Musk called this an "incredible day" and said it's part of a "huge revolution in spaceflight."
It's been 15 years to get to this point. I'm sort of at a loss for words. It's been a great day for SpaceX and space exploration as a whole.- Musk
The first-stage of the rocket was originally used to bring a Dragon vehicle to the ISS.
Since the first-stage accounts for around 80% of the cost of a rocket launch, being able to recover it can significantly reduce costs, hence referring to this as a "revolution."
Incredibly proud of the SpaceX team for achieving this milestone in space! Next goal is reflight within 24 hours.
