A bendable smartphone won't be coming from Samsung until at least 2019, according to Kim Taewoong, principal engineer at Samsung Display. The statement from Taewoong goes against a report from March that claimed the device would be ready this year.

Speaking with The Korea Herald, the engineer noted the bendable phone technology still has some difficulties that must be overcome.
