Microsoft HoloLens Has 150 Apps

To mark the one-year anniversary of the HoloLens, Microsoft has revealed the platform now has 150 apps. Software developers have made a range of apps in the past year. Among them is HoloHear, which offers real-time speech-to-sign-language for the deaf.
HoloLens is still only being used by a small number of people due to its high $3,000 price tag.
Microsoft appears to be increasing its focus on mixed reality. It has brought in Liz Hamren to lead HoloLens' marketing efforts. She was previously the chief marketing officer at Oculus. And Microsoft is making a dedicated mixed reality marketing team.
