Yahoo's outgoing CEO Marissa Mayer is expected to receive a $186 million payout when she leaves the company. Verizon is in the process of acquiring Yahoo for $4.49 billion. Shareholders will vote on that deal on June 8.
Documents provided to shareholders revealed Mayer's stock, stock options, and restricted stock units have a $186 million value. That'll become a payout if the deal is approved by shareholders.
Mayer has already received around $200 million in salary during her time as the leader of the struggling company.
She was in charge of the company during unwise acquisitions and during multiple security breaches that were handled poorly.
