Facebook Introduces Personal Fundraising Option

Facebook has become an alternative to GoFundMe, with the network now offering a personal fundraising feature. Users can raise money from others on the site in order to cover things like medical bills and tuition.
This feature is rolling out to users over the age of 18 in the coming weeks. When you want to raise money, Facebook will let you establish a page to explain the fundraiser and you'll be able to set up a donation goal.
To start, fundraising will be allowed for medical bills, education expenses, pets' medical bills, personal emergencies, assistance for families following a death, and crisis and disaster relief.
