iOS 11 May Kill Up To 200,000 Apps

Hundreds of thousands of apps appear set to die with the release of iOS 11. Sensor Tower reports there are 187,000 apps that could disappear from the platform once the operating system update is available.
Apple has been requesting developers make their apps compatible with 64-bit processors since the iPhone 5S. With iOS 11, it's finally going to make 32-bit apps obsolete.
Beta versions of iOS have begun displaying a warning that "this app will not work with future versions of iOS," indicating this report is accurate.
Around 8% of apps on the App Store may be affected.
